• Performance test. This is an assessment test which the learner is expected to carry out a task and while she is at it, she is being examined by a group of examiners. The learner is expected to carry out the task as efficiently and correctly as possible in order to earn marks.
• The oral test. In this method there is face to face encounter between the examiner and the examinee. The examiner verbally ask questions and the examinee verbally responds to them.
• Paper and pencil test or written test. In this method the examinee is expected to record his responses on a paper. This means a permanent record of the test proceedings
