• Make sure the reservoir is 2/3 full of paraffin.
• Screw the cap down lightly on the reservoir and pump the stove giving about 40-50 strokes.
• Fill the trough around the pipe with paraffin and light it. When almost finished turn the tap and the burner should light.
• The burner of the pressure stove has a small hole for the kerosene vapour which sometimes becomes blocked with soot. This should be kept clean with an instrument provided with the stove.
• Do not try to poke out the hole with anything else as you may take the hole the wrong size.
