Comprehensive analysis of health behaviour: Infertility caused by low sperm count

Low sperm count means that the fluid (semen) you ejaculate during an orgasm contains fewer sperm than normal. Also called oligospermia
Having a lower sperm count naturally decreases the odds that one of the sperm will fertilize your partner’s egg. However many men with a low sperm count are still able to father a child.
There are no obvious symptoms to look for but in some cases there could be an inherited chromosomal abnormality (fertility disorder), a hormonal imbalance, dilated testicular veins, or a condition that blocks the passage of sperm. These may cause signs which include:

i) Problems with sexual function such as low sexual drive or erectile dysfunction.
ii) Pain swelling or a lump in the testicular area
ii) Decreased facial or body hair or other signs of chromosome or hormone abnormality

Low sperm count has a variation of causative factors related to behaviors in everyday life linked to health and lifestyle
LIFESTYLE: behaviors that form part of the daily living of an individual
Drug, alcohol abuse and use of other recreational drugs
Alcohol lowers testosterone levels which causes decreased sperm production relatively causing low sperm count.
Smoking of marijuana and tobacco is also a common predisposing factor to low sperm count as it also impacts testosterone levels which interferes with sperm production
Profession (occupation) also brings a significant impact on lifestyle because there are recurrent acts that revolve around work detail.
An example could be industry workers exposed to toxins such as benzenes, toluene, xylene or organic solvents, painting materials and lead in the case of painters could cause low sperm count, another occupation such as welding or occupations that demand laptop use over long periods which exposes one to heat for prolonged periods impairs sperm production and function

HEALTH: behaviors which directly impact on the health of an individual
Physical exercise- lack of enough exercise may give room for obesity and use of steroids and other workout supplements could negatively impact sperm count
Dietary restrictions-poor dietary choices which could otherwise cause obesity would bring about hormonal irregularities and influence fertility directly impacting sperm count
