The program prepares students to work as Occupational Health and Safety technicians.
Such technicians collect data on the safety and health conditions of the workplace.
Safety specialists work in conjunction with the above technicians in measuring hazards to prevent harm general public, environment, workers and property.

(i) Work Place Information.
(ii) Risk Management.
(iii) Occupational Health and Hygiene.
(iv) Safety Technology and Management.
(v) Environmental Impact Assessment and Audit.
(vi) Science of Safety and Environment.
Entry requirements
Holder of at least second Class Honours Degree (Upper division) B. Sc. degree in a relevant degree from a recognized university.
