Universities Offering ICT Based Teaching and Information Management (IBTM)

•  Inoorero University School of ICT, Nairobi  
  This program was launched after consultation
  with Kenya Institute of Education,Teachers Service Commission
  and Ministry of Education to enable teachers and other
  students to earn teacher ICT literacy.
  
  Entry requirements
  Interested students are required to possess either of
  the following qualifications:
  (i)A certificate or diploma in education
  from a reputable teacher training college
  In addition, these applicants must produce
  transcript from a teacher's college showing the courses that have been covered with passing grades.
  (ii)Holders of a degree in education
  (iii)Admission will also be offered to applicants having a certificate or
  a diploma in education from a recognized institution plus a certificate or
  a diploma in computer applications.Such applicants will be considered
  after evaluation and passing an Information Communication Technology
  proficiency examination.They may be allowed to join module II.
  In addition,applicants required to bring the following:
  (a)Non refundable application fee of Kshs. 1,000/=
  (b)Complete and signed application
  (c)Originals and a copy of certificate
  (d)Three recent passport size photographs
  (e)Copy of National ID card or Birth Certificate
  
  
  Course duration
  - The program takes six months.
  
  Mode of study
  (i)Saturdays
  (ii)Evening classes
  (iii)School based program that runs in April,August and December holidays.
  The mode above takes one year.

  Admission fees
  - Kshs.1,000
  
  Admission requirements
  - A certificate or diploma
  in education from a reputable
  teacher training institution.
  -Applicants having the qualifications
  above plus a certificate in computer
  applications,may join module two of
  the program after evaluation.
  
  Mode of study
  -(i)Saturdays
  -(ii)Evening classes
  -(iii)School based-Available in April,August and December holidays
  
  Course duration
  -(a)One year for school based
  -(b)Three months for evening classes
  -(c)Six months for Saturday mode of study.
