This is a modular course examined by KNEC and offered in some of the leading technical training institutions in Kenya.
For one to qualify for admission to module I, he/she should have attained a KCSE mean grade of D+ with pass in Mathematics and Physics.
To proceed with module II, one must pass in module I.
Those who successfully complete module II can work as electricians in both private and public firms. They can also venture into self employment. In addition, one can choose to proceed with studies and pursue a diploma course.
