1.Competencies- include intellectual abilities social skills manual skills e.t.c.
2.Cognitive strategies- are habitual ways of selectively attending to information and organizing them in to meaningful units
3.Outcome expectancies- they are expectations about the consequences of different behavior and the meaning of certain stimulus
4.Subjective value of the outcome- even if individuals have similar expectancy they may choose to behave differently because of differences in subjective value of outcomes they anticipate
5.Self regulatory systems and plans- individual differences in self imposed goals and rules guiding behavior, self imposed rewards for success, and punishment for failure and the ability to plan and execute steps leading to a goal
