Opinion polls seek to find out the required information from a person or a group of people. Many people do not oftenly differentiate between a poll and a question. Do you remember how the kcpe exams were formatted? E.g.
*which prophet did not face death?
a. Prophet elijah
b. Prophet jeremiah
c. Prophet elisha
d. Prophet nehemiah.

The above example clearly depicts a question. One fact about questions is that most of them seek a similar answers from everyone.

Polls seek to provide required information to the relevant person who requires it. Polls can be restricted to at least two answers. Some poll creators will put answers like:
*why not? (instead of YES)
*Of course (instead of YES)
*no way (instead of NO)

In order to create that perfect poll that draws that attention of poll voters, your poll must be unique and does not contain general statements like:
* who is your favorite musician?
*what is your best game?

You need to entice the poll voters into
clicking on your poll by the use
of only your poll title.
So, how do you get this done? All you need is to have in mind the question you seek to hear the voters opinion. In my example, I will seek to find out why youths are addicted to facebook.
If I ask why people are addicted to facebook in my poll title will be very minimal and ending up with 2 biased votes is the last thing I need.
The possible way to twist the question is to catch up all the attention. Example:

*Facebook will shut down soon is just a lie because addicted youths have gladly contributed to the success of this social network. Why are you addicted to this lovely social network?

The title itself thought not the exact piece of information required will draw the attention of the youths.

In opinion polls, every answer you give is valid

and the voters will vote depending on the truth they have inside them. So, if your poll have 20 choices/answers, let all of them be valid. The user will not communicate to you if you leave out a choice. So ensure your poll have all the most important choices and the rest minor choices summed in the OTHER section.

Below is a good example:
Facebook will shut down soon is just a lie because addicted youths have gladly contributed to the success of this social network. Why are you addicted to this lovely social network?
*because of the groups/pages created
*because of the sites popularity
*the site is simple to use
*the site is user friendly
*i am addicted because of other reasons.
*i prefer not to answer that.

The last but not the least opinion creating tip is to ensure after all the hard work to entice the user into opening your. Survey panel they do not back the page only because they don''t find something of choice to vote/poll on. Let them tell you that they don''t feel secure exposing such private information.
Where appropriate, put that choice of I PREFER NOT TO ANSWER that last in the list. This way you will harness every vote out there.
Now that kenyaplex.com introduced opinion polls, go create that astonishing poll and draw us all o it.
Good luck in your polls creating
