Admission requirements
- One is required to hold
any one of the qualifications
below:
(i)A minimum of a degree of science
or education with at least second
class upper division and has studied
Plant Ecology to a degree level.

(ii)Applicants having second class,lower division
degree in the above areas may be admitted if
they have a minimum of two years work experience in a relevant field or
can show proven evidence of research ability.

Course duration
- Eighteen months
Admission requirements.
(a) Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Science with at least Upper Second Class Honours or equivalent from a recognized University, or Bachelor of Education Degree with at least Upper Second Class Honours or equivalent with a major in Biology; OR

(b) Bachelors degree as in 1 above with Lower Second Class Honours or equivalent plus at least two years relevant work/ research experience.

Course duration.
Two years.
This course takes two academic years. It has both class work and research. Candidates are required to write a thesis on topic relevant to the field of genetics.
