Entry requirements
- Applicants are expected to hold any one
of the qualifications below:
(i)A minimum of C in KCSE
(ii)D+ in KCSE,in addition the applicant must be a kindergarten
headmistress at District Centres for Early Childhood Education.
(iii)P1 certificate
(iv)A certificate in in Early Childhood Education from a reputable
institution.
(v) Long service Early Childhood Development teacher with a KNEC proficiency
examination certificate.

Program duration
- Two years(six terms)

Tuition fees
- (i)Ksh.36,950 per term for new students
(ii)Ksh.35,450 per term for continuing students
Academic qualifications
To qualify for this program,one is required to hold
any of the qualifications below:
(i)A minimum of C in KCSE
(ii)Division III in KCE
(iii)A minimum of C- in KCSE plus a certificate in Early
Childhood Education with at least two years teaching experience.
(iv) Any other relevant qualifications accepted by the university
senate.

Three semesters

Mean grade of C (Plain) at KCSE or equivalent

OR

Mean grade of C- (Minus) at KCSE or equivalent with either a P1 certificate or an Early Childhood Studies certificate from a recognized institution

Non-East Africans Kshs. 65,000/- p.a.
Statutory fees Kshs. 19,900/- p.a.
