Admission shall be granted to holders of any of the qualifications below:
(a) A mean grade of C+ at KCSE with C+ in both English and Kiswahili.OR

(b) A mean grade of C at KCSE with C in both English and Kiswahili or KCE Division II plus a Diploma in relevant field with a credit/ distinction or

(c) A mean grade of C- at KCSE or KCE division III plus a certificate and a Diploma in relevant discipline with a credit pass from a reputable college.OR

(d) A level qualifications with two principal passes and a subsidiary pass. OR

(e) A mean grade of C- at KCSE plus a diploma in relevant field from a recognized institution OR

(f) A first Degree in any field from a recognized institution with a minimum of Second Class Honours (upper division) OR Second Class Honours (lower division) plus one year working experience in a related field.

(c) History of Mass Communication.

(d) Critical Thinking in Communication.

(e) Media Ethics.

(f) Script Writing For Television.

Those willing to apply for the above program are expected to be holding any of the qualifications below:
(i) A mean grade of C+ at KCSE with C+ in English or Kiswahili OR

(ii) A mean grade of C at KCSE or KCE Division II or EACE Division II, with C+ in English or Kiswahili plus a Diploma in relevant discipline from a recognized college OR

(iii) A mean grade of C at KCSE with C+ in English or Kiswahili plus a Diploma in relevant field with a credit pass OR

(iv) Two principal passes and a subsidiary pass in KACE and a credit pass in English or Kiswahili at the KCE level OR

(v) A degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university.
