of the qualifications below
shall eligible for admission:
(a)A minimum of C+ in KCSE
with C+ in English language
and each of the cluster subjects
in either of the alternatives
below:

-Alternative A
(i)Mathematics
(ii)Chemistry
(iii)Physics
(iv)Geography or biology or any group IV subject
excluding Home Science

-Alternative B
(i)Biological sciences
(ii)Physical sciences
(iii)Maths
(iv)Geography or any group IV subject excluding
Home Science.

Applicants who have scored a minimum of C+
but C- in only one cluster subject shall
be allowed to take a bridging course to
bring it to C+

(b)At least two principal passes
in maths and physics and a subsidiary
pass in chemistry with a credit pass
in English at 'O' level.A subsidiary
pass in Geography shall be accepted
in lieu of chemistry.

(c)A diploma or a higher diploma
in any one of the areas below with
at least a credit pass:
(i)Civil Engineering
(ii)Agricultural Engineering
(iii)Surveying
(iv)Mechanical Engineering
(v) Electrical/Electronic Engineering

(d)A diploma in relevant discipline
with a credit pass in physics and maths
from science or Technical Teacher Training
Colleges

(e)Bachelor of science bachelor of
education(science),majoring in physics
or maths from reputable universities.

Program duration
-Five years
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
The comon regulation for masters degree in all faculties and those of the school of Engineering, of the University of Nairobi, shall apply.

The following shall be eligible for admission:

Holders of Bachelor of Science in Engineering with at least upper second-class honours Degree.

Holders of lower second-class honours Degree in Engineering with either a relevant post-graduate diploma or at least two years relevant experience.

Holders of pass Degree in Engineering with either a relevant post graduate diploma or three years relevant experience.
