Admission shall be granted to holders of any of the qualifications below:
(a) A mean grade of C+ at KCSE with C+ in each of the subjects below:
(i) Biology or Biological sciences.

(ii) English or Kiswahili.

(iii) Physics or Physical sciences or C in Mathematics or Physics.

(iv) Chemistry.

(b) Two principal passes in science subjects in IGCE/GCE.

(c) A Diploma or Higher National Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology.
In addition, they must be registered with the KMLTTB.

Course requirements.
(a) A mean grade of C+ at KCSE with C+ in each of the subjects below:
(i) English or Kiswahili.

(ii) Chemistry or Physical Sciences.

(iii) Biology or Biological Science.
In addition, applicants must have scored a C in Mathematics or Physics.

(b) Holders of a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences with KMLTTB registration shall be considered for admission.

Course duration.
Eight semesters.

Mount Kenya University School Of Health Sciences

Course requirements.
(a) A mean grade of C+ at KCSE with C+ in Biology and Chemistry, English/ Kiswahili, and C in Mathematics/ Physics.

(b) Admission shall also be granted to applicants with C at KCSE plus a Diploma/ Higher National Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences.

Diploma holders must be registered with KMLTTB.

Six years.

Minimum requirements
-A minimum of C+ in KCSE

biology and chemistry.Holders
of relevant diplomas may be
