About Bachelor of Science in Analytical Chemistry with Computing(Analytical Chemistry)

Analytical chemistry is a branch of chemistry that deals with the following:
(a)Determining the concentration of chemical species
(b)Analysis of chemical composition of various substances
Students are therefore prepared for the following positions:
(a)Environmental chemist
(b)Field chemist
(c)Analytical chemist
Computing enables the above discipline to be performed with efficiency
Those interested in the program above are required to have scored a minimum of C+ in KCSE.
In addition,they must have passed in the subjects below with the grades indicated:
(a)Maths or physics C
(b)Chemistry C+
(c)English or kiswahili C+
Admission shall also be granted to the diploma holders in a relevant discipline provided that they have passed with a credit.
Those who have worked in the position of chemical analyst before will have an added advantage.
