- Filter the solution to obtain potassium carbonate as a filtrate and calcium carbonate as a residue.
- Heat the filtrate to evaporate water until you obtain a saturated solution.
- Cool to form crystals.
- Filter to obtain potassium carbonate crystals then between filter papers.
