How to Make an M-Pesa LED Signage from LED Diodes

INTRODUCTION
LED: Means Light Emitting Diodes,they exist in different color such as red,green,blue,yellow,orange and white.Recently in our Kenyan economy we have many subscribers of safari-com mpesa money transfer. Many people are investing in that sector and thus advertise their business using the mpesa led signage. Most mpesa shops prefer advertising their business using that mode.Thus it will be helpful for one to acquire such skill.
MATERIALS NEEDED:
(a) Led diodes: Green,white,red and blue.
(b) Jumper wire useful in looping
(c) soldering wire
(d) A soldering gun
(e) Resistors mostly 10k
(f) Small diodes black four pieces for bridge making.
(g) 2mm drilling bit
(h) Drilling machine
(i) Plywood soft
(j) Black paint and a three inch brush.
(k) one inch by half trunking one piece
(l) 130cm one inch by one inch pulpy piece of wood
(m) superglue
(i) shoe tax half inch
PROCEDURE
First and foremost you have to prepare your plywood by cutting into the preferred size for instance in our case lets use the standard measurement of 45cm in length by 20cm width.
secondly make a sketch of the mpesa writing with the phone drawing in it, while making the sketch make sure to leave a space of about two inches from all the sides. Carefully take the drill connect your two mm drill bit make sure its tight. Then carefully plug the drill into a socket and hen put on the socket.Take your plywood and carefully make holes using the two millimeter bit on each letter with a one centimeter spacing from each hole. Do that for all the letters including the phone sketch in the mpesa logo. Done with the drilling of the holes, If you remember we had left two inches allowance from all the sides. Then take a ruler and make a border of one inch all round and make holes of one centimeter spacing leave an allowance of

five inches after every ten holes. Done with that get your black paint and the tree inch brush and apply on the plywood. After carefully painting the plywood on the drilled words give it sometime to dry.
After giving it enough time get your led diodes and start putting each diode in a hole on each letter NB: The diodes on the M,P,E,S, and A are green. The ones on the phone the red part put the red diodes and the white part the white diodes. The blue diodes belong to the outside border. KINDLY AND CAREFULLY NOTE THAT THE DIODES HAVE POLARITIES THUS POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE.
When you carefully hold the led you will note that one wire is longer than the other. The longer wire is positive and the shorter one is negative. When putting the diodes in each hole make sure for the first diode you start with positive the sequence is uniform all diodes start with the positive and end with the negative for each letter.Every diode you put has to start with the positive and end with the negative even in the phone drawing.
When done with the arrangement of the diodes carefully join them using the soldering wire by using the soldering gun. Leave out the first positive and negative terminal on each letter. When done with the joining of the led diodes loop each word as for M leave the first positive and loop the negative to that positive of P then the negative on P to that positive of E and that negative of E to the positive of S the negative of S to that positive of A. Therefor we remain with a positive of M and Negative on A. Join the phone by looping it to the border led using the same procedure to that of looping the mpesa word. Remember the connection is series and thus for each looping the first and last terminal are positive and negative respectively.
For the MPESA wording our first terminal in M is positive and the last terminal in A is negative,the looping of the phone and that of the blue border led has to be the same. for the mpesa connect three resistors of 10k each then join it to the positive terminal of M and that of the Phone.Prepare the bridge here you have to be very keen take the four pieces of diodes. The diodes as well have the positive terminal and negative. When you closely study the diode you will find one side has a silver color on it and the other end is just black. The black side is the negative terminal and the silver side is the negative terminal. Join the silver side on two diodes and the other two join the negative side. You will have two pair of diodes one with the negative pair and the other with the positive. To create the bridge get to join the negative and positive pair. Then get your bridge that will be having the positive and negative terminal join the positive and negative terminal from our previous MPESA wording and phone respectively the remaining two poles will connect the power wire thus the live and neutral.Get the superglue and make sure every looped wire is glued to the board( plywood ) including the bridge to avoid contact of live wires.
Now we need to cover the back side of the bord since its electricity. Cut another piece of of plywood with the same measurements of 45cm by 20cm. Cut the pulpy pieces of wood two measuring 45cm and the rest 18cm each. Cover the plywood then to the framing cover the wood with the tranking then carefully plug the board into the socket and there you are

NB: YOU HAVE TO VERY KEEN WHEN GOING THROUGH THIS PROCEDURE FOR ITS ELECTRICITY YOU WILL BE WORKING ON AND AVOID DIRECT CONTACT OF LIVE WIRES.
