"Unemployment! unemployment!" that is every song among our Kenyan youth.Today may I define for you what unemployment means so that when you shout it out next time,you would have thought twice.Unemployment is the situation where an individual with required qualifications and appropriate age does not get the job. That is my simple definition,most people cry that there is no job but when you ask for their education documents,they are stranded.So you want what you are not qualified for,right?Go and learn what you want to do,get the right qualification then search for the job.The second problem with our Kenyans is that once we have got the right qualifications, we sit back and wait for the jobs to come to us. Nobody knows that you are qualified for a certain job until you tell them.Search for the job,don't wait for job to search for you.So the next time you want to shout this word ask yourself these two questions "am I qualified for any job and have documents to show it?" and "did I search for that job?".
