INSTRUCTIONS:
Answer question ONE and any other TWO questions.

QUESTION ONE
Kopesa Banking limited was incorporated in the year 2000 as a private financial institution in Kenya. Currently, it has 500 staff and an annual business turnover of ksh.600 million. The bank has six branches located in Mombasa, Nairobi, Eldoret Nyeri, Kakamega and Kisumu. Since its inception, the bank has been doing well and has been competing effectively until the beginning of the year 2009 in which it started to experience sluggish business performance and a drop out in clientele.
As a research consultant, you have been commissioned by the bank to conduct a comprehensive
study in the wake of sluggish performance.

Required:-
(a)
State an appropriate research title for the research. (2 marks)

“ A research problem exists only if some conditions are met”. With reference to the above, highlight the conditions. ( 5 marks)

Formulate three possible research objectives for the proposed study. ( 3 marks)
