Using relevant examples differentiate between the following terms as used in community advocacy and networking.

Public relations and community mobilization. (4 marks)

Members of networks are often called upon to make hard decisions. Give Four (4) guidelines that can help a group to reach a consensus on an advocacy issue. (4 marks)

Networking is becoming a very important aspect of community development. As a chairperson of a community based organization, discuss five (5) points to explain the importance of networking to members of the organization. (10 marks)

As a program officer, you have been asked to give a talk on the choice of an advocacy issue to upcoming community based organizations. Discuss four (4) points that would guide the choice of an advocacy issue. (12 marks)
5.
As a fund raising officer for your organization describe three sources of financial support to your organization. (6 marks)

Water shortage is a problem that is currently affecting all communities in Kenya. As an advocacy network you have decided to focus on addressing the water shortage. Using the above illustration

Explain three (3) types of IEC materials that you can use to reach your audience. (6 marks)
7.
You have been elected as a leader of an advocacy network. Describe five (5) ways of ensuring that the network meetings are productive. (10 marks)
8.
You have been asked to conduct monitoring for a certain community advocacy issue that you have been implementing. Outline and discuss Five (5) indicators you would use to gauge the success of the activity. (10 marks)
