(ii)Applicants must produce evidence of registration or eligibility to be licensed by
Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board for purposes of training.

(iii)Evidence of proficiency in English language is mandatory.

(iv)The applicant will be required to have a valid Professional Indemnity cover during the period of training.

MASTER OF MEDICINE IN GENERAL SURGERY

Entry requirements:

Application for the course will be open to holders of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree (MBChB) or its equivalent from a recognized University and they should have obtained at least a credit in surgery.

The application must be accompanied with academic transcript and recommendations from two referees who must be from reputable institutions. The upper age limit will be 32 years.

Prospective candidates must provide evidence of continuing surgical exposure/contact and practice.

Furthermore, he/she must provide evidence of good, ethical conduct. Where applicable, candidates will be required to submit their undergraduate logbooks where applicable together with their applications.

Admission requirements
-Students interested in this
program must satisfy all the
qualifications below:
-(i)Be registered or be registrable as a medical practitioner by
the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board of Kenya.
(ii)Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline from either
Moi university or any other reputable university.
(iii)Must have practiced for at least one year after internship.
(iv)Admission shall also be granted to holders of masters in General
Medicine and meet the university postgraduate requirements.Such students
may join part II
