1.MOFETTE---it is a volcanic discharge consisting chiefly of carbon dioxide, often associated with vapours, representing the final phase of volcanic activity.

2.FUMALORE--It is an opening in the planets crust which emits steam and gases such as carbon dioxide,sulfur dioxide and hydrogen chloride.
-The difference between a mofette and fumalore is that a mofette is the volcanic discharge while the fumalore is the opening where a mofette passes through.
