Section One (30 marks)

Q1.

As a teacher for children with learning impairment, using manual communication is of great value. Explain the pros and cons of using this kind of method. [20 marks]

Discuss challenges that have brought about the emergence of “Total communication” from 18th Century to date pointing out how education for the deaf has been influenced with particular reference to Kenya. [20 marks]
