This program aims the following objectives:
(i) Reflecting the dynamic changes in purchasing and supplies processes and providing a basis for the world of work providing ethical principles.

(ii) Preparing graduates to work in purchasing and supplies section in both private and public sectors.



Admission shall be granted to holders of any of the qualifications below:
(i) A minimum of C+ at KCSE with C in both English or Kiswahili and Maths OR

(ii) KCE division two with credit pass in both Mathematics and English/Kiswahili OR

(iii) KACE certificate with a principal pass and a subsidiary pass from a recognized institution OR

(iv) A diploma in a relevant discipline from a reputable institution with a credit pass. OR

(v) A diploma in purchasing and supplies management with a pass and a minimum of five years work experience.

Course requirements.
(a) A mean grade of C+ at KCSE or equivalent with at least C or above in Mathematics and English/Kiswahili; OR

(b) Mean grade C (Plain) at KCSE or Division III at KCE with a Diploma in Business Studies or its equivalent with a credit pass from a recognized institution;OR

(c) C at KCSE or Division III at KCE with a CPA/CPS Part II or equivalent professional qualification; OR,

(d) KACE or equivalent with a minimum of two Principal passes and a Subsidiary, with a minimum of a Credit pass in Mathematics at KCE;OR

(e) KACE certificate with a minimum of two subsidiary passes plus a Diploma from a recognized institution;OR

(f) Holder of a degree from a recognized university.

Four years.
Applicants are expected to be holders of any of the qualifications below:
(i) A minimum of C+ at KCSE with C English and Mathematics. OR

(ii) Two principal passes in KACE. OR

(iii) A Diploma in a relevant discipline with a credit pass.

(ii) Supplies and Materials Management.

(iii) Distribution and Warehousing.

(iv) Operations Management.
