Admission requirements:-
Candidates wishing to study for the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree shall have met the minimum University entry requirements.

a) For the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) holders, minimum university admission requirement is C+ (plus) and in addition, an average of B plain in each of the following cluster subjects

Biology
Chemistry
Physics or Mathematics
English or Kiswahili
b) For Kenya advanced Certificate of Education (KACE) holders, a minimum of two principal passes in Biology, Chemistry and subsidiary pass in either Mathematics or Physics

c) For International Baccalaureate (IB), a minimum of grade 5 or above in International Baccalaureate
d) For diploma holders in Medical Sciences, a minimum ‘O’ level Division II pass in K.A.C.E or C+ (plus) mean grade and a credit C+ in cluster subjects in KCSE , in addition to a three year diploma with a minimum of a credit pass from a medical training institution recognized by the Board

e) Proficiency in English language

f) For holders of any degree in Biological Sciences or equivalent qualifications from a recognized university subject to passing Graduate Record Examination (GRE)

The program is available in faculty
of health sciences.Students are trained
to become experts in health
sector by providing diagnosis and preventive
measures to ordinary and stubborn diseases.

Course requirements
- A minimum of a B- in KCSE with a B- in
each of the following:
(i)Physics or maths
(ii)Biology
(iii)Chemistry
(iv)English or kiswahili or
- Two principle passes in chemistry and biology and a subsidiary pass in physics or
maths at advanced level or
a diploma in clinical medicine and surgery with credit two from a reputable institution
plus a C in KCSE or hold any other relevant qualifications approved by the senate.

Course duration
- The program takes four years

Graduation requirements
- Students are required to have done and passed
all course within the given period.

Admission requirements
-Students are required to
hold any one of the qualifications
below:
(a)A minimum of B- in KCSE.In
addition,they must have passed
in the subjects below with the
grades indicated.
(i)B- in chemistry
(ii)B- in physics or maths
(iii)B- in biology
(iv)B- in English or kiswahili

(b)A-level qualifications with a minimum of
two principal passes in biology and a subsidiary
pass in maths or physics.

(c)A minimum of C in KCSE plus a diploma in clinical
medicine and surgery from a reputable institution.

(d)Holders of Higher National Diploma in a relevant
discipline may eligible for admission.

Course duration
- Four years
Course Requirements
(i) Students applying for the program above must have attained a minimum of a C+ in KCSE with a C in kiswahili or English or
(ii) Hold a KCE certificate with a credit pass or
(iii) Two principal passes at KACE level or
(iv) Hold a diploma with at least a credit pass or
(v) Be in possession of a professional certificate plus a relevant diploma from a recognized institution
