Course requirements
- Applicants are required to have scored
a C in KCSE with a C in English,maths
or six credits at GCSE, GCE and KCE – Credit in Mathematics and English
Holders of the following diploma qualifications may be considered
for certain exemptions:
(i)Diploma in Computer Studies (KNEC)
(ii)Diploma in Information Technology (KNEC)
(iii)Diploma in Information Technology (JKUAT)
(iv)International Advanced Diploma In Computer Studies (NCC)
(v)IMIS Diploma/Higher Diploma
(vi)Diploma in Information Technology - KCA University
(vii)Diploma in IT - Strathmore University
(viii)Certified in Information Communication Technology(CICT) KASNEB
Entry into the second year.
The following will be eligible for
credit transfers.
Holders of DICT are eligible to join the bachelor of science in information communication technology degree course for Inoorero University at Year 1 or Year 2 through a credit transfer system. The diploma in information communication technology is also recognized as an entry requirement for various degree programmes in Kenya and beyond.
In addition, applicants are required to bring the following items:
(i)Non refundable application fee of Kshs. 1,000/=
(ii)Complete and signed application
(iii)Originals and a copy of certificate
(iv)Three recent passport size photographs
(v)Copy of National ID card or Birth Certificate
