a) i) Create a database called KWFT SYSTEM and design the above tables
ii) Use combo box property to enter information under department and job group column
ii) Set the validation rule and the corresponding validation text for gender column.
b) i) Create the relationship between personal and salary table
i) Create a query with the fields names, NAME,DEPARTMENT ,JOB GROUP,BASIC PAY,NHIF,NSSF and COMMUTER ALLOWANCE in that order
ii) Modify your query by adding the fields:
HOUSE ALLOWANCE, TOTAL ALLOWANCE, TOTAL DEDUCTIONS, GROSS PAY and NET PAY in that order given that house allowance is calculated as 15% of the basic pay. Save your query as SALARY QUERY in the root of the diskette.
c) i) Use SALARY QUERY to create a form with the following labels:
NAME,BASIC PAY,NHIF,NSSF,COMMUTER ALLOWANCE,HOUSE ALLOWANCE,TOTAL ALLOWANCE,GROSS PAY,TOTAL DEDUCTIONS and NET PAY in that order.
i) Add “PAY SLIP” as the form header and format it with 12 points bold with Garamond type face
b) i) Using SALARY QUERY, create a tabular report with the following headings in the order listed
NAME, BASIC PAY, TOTAL ALLOWANCE, GROSS PAY, TOTAL DEDUCTIONS and NET PAY.
ii) Format it using formal style. Apply 14 points bold and white font colour in a dark red background for titles and 10 points aerial narrow with blue font colour for the rest of the text all centered.
iii) Save the report as SALARY REPORT in a landscape orientation.
