Many people have bicycles but they do not know how to repair a puncture when it occurs. This guide will show all the bicycle owners how to repair the puncture in their bicycles and save them some money.

Requirements:
A bicycle pump
A puncture patch
A basin of water
Super glue
A sand paper
A strong screw driver

Procedure:

1. Lay your bicycle on the ground and remove the tube. This is done by detaching the tire from the rim using the screw driver. You insert the screw driver in the space between the rim of the bicycle wheel and the tire and twist it outwards to detach the tire from the rim. Once the tire is detached, you can now remove the tube using your hands.
2. Pump some air into the tube until it is inflated.
3. Immerse the tube into the basin of water in sections. Repeat for various sections until you see some bubbles coming out. Mark the place where the bubbles are formed because that is where the puncture is.
4. Now that you have identified the puncture, dry the water on that point with a piece of cloth and then take the sand paper and rub it on the point of the puncture taking extreme care not to wear out the tube. Do this until you have obtained a crispy clean place around the puncture where you can attach the patch.
5. Take the glue and apply it moderately around that place.
6. Place the patch over that point making sure that it has covered the puncture completely. Then press the patch to make sure that it sticks well, more so on the edges.
7. Test whether the puncture has been completely sealed by immersing the inflated tube once again into the basin of water to check whether there will be any bubbles coming out. If none comes out, you have successfully sealed the

puncture.
If still there are bubbles coming out, then it is an indicator that there could be another puncture or the one you were repairing has not been sealed successfully. If this is the case, then you will have to repeat the process as outlined above.
8. Check the inner side of the tire to see whether the item which had caused the puncture is still on the tire and remove it. This could be a thorn, a sharp stone, or some other sharp object.
9. After the check-up is complete, you then return the tube into the tire and reattach the tire to the rim and you are ready to continue with your bicycle riding.
