Answer question ONE and any other TWO questions

QUESTION ONE

In 2005 Tony Mambo borrowed kshs 100,000 to open his first sandwich shop with two of his old schoolmates in Nairobi. Three years later they had 3 outlets. What they didn''t have was enough experience to manage the business. The growing losses pushed the partners out, but Mambo''s self-confidence told him to stick with it. He hired a management expert to help him learn management skills. As the business grew stronger, Tony decided that converting it to a company might be a boost to the struggling business. He hired a lawyer to prepare company documents for registration under the name Conza Ltd. By 2010, there were 7 branches and revenues approaching kshs 15 million a year. Conza Ltd went public [sold stock to the general public] that year, putting stock on open market.

Conza Ltd added only 5 new branches in the next five years. This made Mambo, the managing director to grow restless. He felt that he let the details of managing the business deflate his entrepreneurial passion. He vowed to change from a manager drowning in day to day details into a leader who could create a vision and inspire his employees to maximize their talents. Mambo chose a team of senior managers to review the goals of the company. Since then, Conza Ltd has more than tripled in size, with more than twenty branches. Now Conza sandwiches are served in such diverse places as much university campus in Nairobi and Mombasa and their environs. Mambo adds a personal touch to Conza Ltd advertisement by appearing in national magazines and television ads.
