The graduates are required by the Kenya medical laboratory technicians and technologists board to sit for licensing examination at this level

- Those interested in this program are required to have attained a B- in biology or biological sciences with a C- in maths,chemistry or physical sciences and a C- in one of the subjects from either of the sets below:
(i)Physics,English or kiswahili

- Hold a KACE certificate with two principal passes in science subjects with one being biology or
- Be in possession of a relevant diploma or
- Hold a Higher diploma with a credit pass in a subject related to the program above from a reputable institution or
