QUESTION TWO – 20 MARKS
Sporting Friends (SF) are an international organization dedicated to developing friendship between individuals and organizations. They have asked one of their members to design a home page for the site. They wanted it to look like this:

a. Explain the function of lines 2 to 6 (3 Marks) b. There are some errors in the code, so in fact the page would not appear as the programmer hoped. Identify the errors and say how you would correct them. (8 Marks) c. The code contains references to other files. You can assume that this code is in a file called index.html, which resides in the root folder of the web server. i. Identify the files ii. State where on the web server you would expect to find each of the files (you might draw a diagram for this iii. iv. Explain why some of the files do not have the file extension .html. (7 Marks) d. Suggest an alternative way of controlling the fonts and alignment of text in the document, explaining why your method would be better.

The SF will need to purchase a web server. They will need to register a domain name, and will also need an IP address. They will need to publicize the URL o the oraniation’s home pae. hen a visitor tries to visit their website, a DNS will be involved. They would like to call their website www.sportingfriends.org, and they would like their home page to be called home.html. You might like to use these names to illustrate your answers.
