There comes a time where the need arises for data transfer from one pc to another. Well the conventional ways are the most reliable as ever some of which can be noted by the use of flash drives, external hard disks or the Ethernet cable which I can honestly tell it’s quite fast and efficient. But here comes the question have you ever found yourself in the situation in that by all ways and means you need to transfer some data or files be it documents, music, movies or pictures etc. and yet you are not in any position to acquire the conventional means of data transfer or as it happens to me, I call it the misfortune of having forgotten your flash disk or hard disk right above your office desk, well you definitely are in the right place my friend, save the fuel and learn something new today.

There are two ways, I guess I stand corrected, to be precise three ways to achieve that, but first there some questions or some important facts you need to consider;
1) Does your pc or laptop has Wi-Fi support? That is inclusive of the other pc you want to transfer the data to or from.
2) It’s all about humor and that is, are you ready to learn?

But first here comes another question why Wi-Fi.
1) It’s faster than the Bluetooth which is totally cumbersome no matter which version it is or hardware you have, trust me have been through that
2) It’s also faster than the medieval ways of using external storage devices, which are generally disappointing at times.
Now let’s get to the fun part, sharing data over Wi-Fi, now get this straight to achieve data transfer over Wi-Fi you’ll have to first create a hotspot on your pc, and there are namely three ways of doing

that;
1) By use of third party application / programs; by far I can duely note that this is the most reliable way of achieving that and the best application / program I would recommend is called “Connectify”, which is by far the best of the best that I have used so far.
2) By the use of cmd (command prompt); well for those who are well versant with windows this will be quite easy for them. Or for those who are out for adventure well this will be quite a turn out for you, trust me it will be a blast.
3) And thirdly through your smartphone; it’s quite simple just turn your data off, go setting and turn on your hotspot. But there is a reason I listed this as a last option. The entire architecture and capability of a phones Wi-Fi isn’t as strong as it is on the pc, so the speeds noted for data transfer will be really low, and by far won’t surpass 5 or 10mbs per second.

But as for today I will only mention a few thing about one sub topic and that is achieving this mode of data transfer by use of third party applications which is by far the best and easiest way. To be perfectly honest, there are lots and lots of apps out there but I can refer you to some:
i) Wi-Fi hotspot pro
ii) Connectify
iii) mhotspot

and many more, though my personal favorite is the connectify, I run the pro version of it, is quite fast actually and not only can it be used for data transfer but also you can get to use it to make your pc your wireless router at home or at work.
I have talked too much and well I don’t want to spoil your fun, now download the application and experience a sensation like never before, I found my reason to smile and so should you and sorry I forgot to mention as for the rest of the steps they are all entailed in each app you download, Happy sharing everybody.
