There is much joy that has been attached to the laptop policy program to the standard one child. It came as an incredible surprise as none ever thought of such an Idea to be frank. Schools in Kenya should exploit the one child one laptop policy so as to attain the main administration's strategic objectives and goals.

There however may exists a number of challenges to this system in the implementation processes as follows.

Geography or terrain;-the location of the school can greatly affect the mechanism of implementing the use of the laptops such that very mountainous areas can be difficult to reach. The terrain should be fair. Not flooding as this will not enhance the usability of the laptops.

Population density;-a high population density in the school can prevent the government from giving the required standard number of laptops to each school. This thus becomes a challenge.

Electric power/solar power;-In availability of electric power leads to the policy not being implemented due to the in availability of power to charge the laptops.

Internet access;-The internet will be useful in uploading of the results. absence of the internet will inconvenience access to information and also access to results. This is due to insufficient funds that the government may deploy in linking them too the internet that is a bit cosy and maintenance too a burden.

Environmental constraints and health issues;-The components of the laptops usually pollute the environment if they are not properly disposed. As well as exposure to high light intensity may result into sight associated effects.

Language and customs;-Some marginalized communities are not aware of the changing technology. Therefore such children and parents who will act as an impediment in implementing this policy to schools in such regions.

Poverty;-Most of the children are living under poverty with their parents earning less than one dollar per

day.this may impart on them a feeling of converting the laptops into cash.

Ignorance;-Most of the children and parents together with the teachers may not be aware on the use of computers technology. Training of these personnel will require more resources which will thus be overloading the government.

The policy can be exploited through beating the following odds.

By installing electric power/ solar energy; - This is simply because the laptops will be running on power. Therefore there should be availability of electricity so that the children can easily charge their laptops. This will call for an intensive rural electrification program.

By recruiting teachers with technical knowledge and skills on computer operation. This is because the teachers will not be able to be excluded from teaching the pupils using the same laptop computers.

By ensuring that the same computers are installed with the correct programs. This will ensure that the children be able to perform some tasks and as such, relevant programs should be readily available. Unnecessary programs should be avoided.
The school should have a competent and able technician who will be servicing the laptops whenever they fail. The technician should be available twenty four hours each day of the week during school hours.

Availability of enough security to all the laptops so as to avoid them is landing in the hands of unauthorized persons.

By implementing a program for training parents to enable them mentor their children and assist them doing homework.

By ensuring the school administration is tough in implementing policies to both the children and the teachers. Well performing children and the respective teachers should be awarded accordingly.

By making the results of the children available in a more electronic form and teaching the parents on how to view the results for their children.

By fighting poverty among the school children so as to avoid disadvantaging a specific group of children.

By training the young immature children on the importance of laptops and thus ensuring that they are careful in handling them to reduce damages.

Through this, the government is much likely to curb all the major challenges at hand in establishing this program. All the best to the government.
