The road to Contentment and Satisfaction

Contentment is the act of being satisfied or being adequately happy as one’s wishes are met. When we meet our expectations and when our desires are met with certainty, everyone and everything in our surroundings notices a change in mood. In fact, every person has a set of goals in life but unfortunately very few of these are met within the short time we live. A child will be born and his parents will notice a footballer in him, he will grow up loving the game and almost his whole interests will be drawn to the game. However it holds no guarantee. The boy may never become a star in that same game regardless of all the efforts he engages. Similarly a girl with a beautiful voice since birth will be encouraged by all to sing, she will then serve the growing pleads by many and start singing the local music and then climb up the Lander. However, it then does not follow an obvious route that the girl will grow to be what the surroundings favor for her; it may run on a complete opposite. Many who have been brought up in complete families, families full of love and care for each other develop the mentality that to be complete in life one has to have such a family, if then such a person doesn’t possess a family as he grew up knowing, he will truly be damned for sure. Satisfaction is not found in theory rather it is a deed accompanied by hardships and many temptations. Those who have made it in life, those who have seen their dreams come true have not done so as easily at it may altogether seem to have been. A rich man will talk of stress and will even get sick and

depression will be his language. It is something large to wonder as those who are completely poor cannot understand such even for a bit. Those who think that satisfaction is met by having lots of property; children etc. are in a totally dark world.
When you have something in prospect, when you have a target, your entire mind gets set to that particular target but as soon as you get done another will rise up, it only means a period of satisfaction is not easily met. When a young man finishes studying a period of enjoyment is not as much as the forward side lying in front tells him ‘look for a job and you will be happy’ when that jobs comes the next language will be ‘get married and have children’ then ‘invest and educate your children’ and so on until old age knocks the door. It is always better to know our areas of satisfaction, our real selves because it is then that we will get energized and determined to fight for a better tomorrow. Too bad some people grow old having no ambitions, these people will live all their lives without knowing what they want, they think of no satisfaction or in other words their satisfaction is periodical and runs every day only to be fed by getting a daily bread, ones they are full in stomachs then that is their satisfaction. Our satisfaction runs our targets and the strength we have, the capacity our targets carry is what defines our future and most of all, the future that our tomorrow serves.
Another group of people will need to be told what would win their satisfaction, they know not what they want and they take life as a routine and turn to live it as others are doing it. Unfortunately here cries a huge number of people. The good thing with such people is that ones they know their strengths they will cultivate well for success and the same triumph becomes their harvest. A boy with a talent in music will sit back and embrace his sister who people say has a good voice, as for him he will have no interest in trying out his bit in the art as he terms the act as occupying someone else’s field. Ones a dreamer encourages the boy to aim his shot, the boy will start trying what they now say. In such a case, if at all the dreamers don’t lie; he makes a good musician something he could not have discovered if they didn’t say. Such people have this disadvantage as if another came with an otherwise, they will equally dodge the rumor which would largely affect what they have in might. In other words, these are those people with low self esteem. They who will never help themselves, their satisfaction depend largely on the local dreamers so pathetic of them.
What do you do to air your satisfaction in life? How hard do you work to see your targets bear fruits? How do you take others’ opinion and how does it affect your enthusiasm? How do you relate with rumor mongers. If only we struggle to see our satisfaction come true we would be benefiting not only our selves but also the universe at large. If or not we get the satisfaction to ourselves we should press on. A dream with no action is dead just as a dormant aspired satisfaction. Work on to what you believe would bring a difference to your life and to those of others without looking back to what others say. Observe your strength oftenly and summarize your personality at instances to help you know your real self. You are unique and what you can do no one else can the same way. This explains why we don’t need to allow any room to superstitions such as ‘our family is cursed’. ‘in our kingdom no one has ever succeeded far much from where I am’, ‘my destiny will never allow riches to come my way’ and what have you. In conclusion, even though many don’t reach permanent satisfaction states, some do taste a bite of it and others miraculously hit the so called point. Remain focused to what you believe in, your strengths and capacities should drive you but leave that state of being to bring itself and manifest in your life.
