Faith is the complete trust or confidence. It is mostly manifested in religious beliefs. Being faithful is the end product of faith. Loyalty and trust are some key attributes found in this juncture. Religion holds monastic vows that link it up with the believers. To the non-believers i.e. pagans and atheists there is also that scent of faith found in them. Many will say no to being faithful to fellow humans as in a holy matrimony but still there is that hope in their perseverance, the expectation that they look forward to drive their ambitions, in a way this depends on faith. Personally, I have seen many who are non believers but very faithful to whatever and whoever they set deals with. Ones I spoke to a former boss of mine when I was still working for him, I had initially spotted the guy to be so humble and very generous and so in our engaging talks I asked him of the church he attends to on Sundays. I assumingly expected an obvious so and so church but my guesses were only proved immature. The boss told me that on Sundays he goes to no church and I was then left in a food for thought situation. It was then double saying triple obvious that my generous boss belonged to the seventh day Adventist denomination to feed my certainty. It was the following Saturday when my boss invited me out to a restaurant during lunch time and after exchanging the usual greetings and working on the obvious, I asked him how church was, funny enough to me he still held that he went to no church. It was then later after we left the restaurant that he invited me the following day to a church, the reason was that he

wanted to give out his 10% of his earnings as tithe to the church. I silently said ‘amen and thanks to God’ my boss goes to church after all.
The Sunday was sunny at least the day was bright and shiny. With the caravan that was heading to the church there were five national gospel artists and well known for that matter and I together with the rest of the invitees were more than enthusiastic to go to a new church and give thanks and praise to God in a new environment. My boss had worn a black suit, very smart and many would have thought we were heading to a wedding ceremony. We were welcomed honorary in the house of the lord as the congregation was well versed of a crew coming and most of all the renowned artists. The church service was well conducted by the chief pastor and many were touched by the message ‘from the lord’. The enticing chapter began with gospel artist matching to the altar and doing what each knew most, many were jumping up and down as the tremulous tracks led to climax; the artists who well were experienced in stage performance involved their audience in their music and the most celebrated motive at overall was “wapi ndulu”, a Swahili slogan that seemed to make the cloud wild. One artist after the other was what the talented done in hierarchy of fame.
The most interactive part on the whole at least to me came by with a loud horn as my former boss matched forward to the altar upon a request from the clergy. It was now his turn to put sense to the unusual visit to that particular church. He said, “How are you all? I am more than pleased to come here today leading this awesome crew to bring forth some of what fate has offered and given me.” Here everyone was shattered by the ironical word ‘fate’ but all assumed it was a mistake. “I personally believe in giving back to the society what the universe has offered me” he continued. He then said that it is an obligation to every human being to contribute to the development of his society for one has to see a change powered by him/her to ensure that fate sustains what he has and more so add more to it. It took me no time later after his remarks to know that the so called generous man was an atheist, a person who believes not in any supernatural power neither Satan nor God. A load of presents were offered to the church as his share to the society. It is a true fact that the man strongly believed in what he claimed because I later learnt that many at times a pastor preached to him to accept Jesus as the personal savior of his life but largely he had argued of no such existence; he had claimed that there is no such cause of death, blessings, curse, birth etc as God’s gifts rather he claimed that such manifests in us as truth due to our faith and if by cause the answer was science. He said that faith is what rules in us, that it is what defines everyone’s present and future and that it is faith that has ever and will forever rule. He explained that the reason as to why he invited many gospel artists contrary to our expectations in service to his belief is because he respects and values each and every other person stand in faith.
I am not to market the atheism as am personally a strong Christian but it was then after this study that I went through that I came to learn one thing as a reality, that no matter what you are, where you are, what you believe in; you may be a Christian, a Muslim, a Hindu, an atheist, a pagan and so on but no matter your religious believe, faith is the key factor. Be strong in it and never indulge yourself in multiple believes as by so doing you will belong to none just to be a member. Also be active in it as ‘faith without action is dead’. On the whole, what sets the day is how we live in cohesion and unity in respect to each and every person’s believe and making our minds understand it; So will explain to us how our faith liaises to what we are expected to do in order to hit our destiny. It is that pride that we posses and the ill spirit of disrespect to others that contributes to a planet full of differences and hate. Development is then buried in a forgetful grave as the pillars of tomorrow that is loyalty and trust get permanently destroyed.
