During birthdays and anniversaries, most people invite their closest friends and relatives to join in the celebrations with them which is actually a brilliant idea because sharing in each others joys and sorrows is what friendship's about. The mode of celebrations is what surprises me more because people get all that money can buy and spend lots and lots of money to make the event a success but they forget some other things which are of utmost importance as well. It is these things that re basically the essence of having these parties.

When there's a celebration , some of things that don't miss include cakes, wine and other drinks, food as well as snacks. The people there eat and drink and at times they leave when they are fully satisfied but have you ever looked back and wondered how many times you have thought of the poor and homeless, the needy and the beggars on the streets?

We spend so much money which ends up being wasted during these celebrations. Most people who come there are already full and they don't see any big deal even if they go pouring the food around or smacking each other with the cakes, some pour beer on the party people and they feel good that they have had fun.The mess that is usually left behind is so horrible that it requires cleaners to be hired to tidy up the entire place which also costs money so there's no saving costs when it comes to celebrations and this is where we go wrong.

If I were to suggest this to most people, they would all me stingy or conservative but I believe that this is the best way of celebrating all our occasions. Visiting the needy and sharing with them the way our aspiring president Peter Kenneth

did on his birthday. If you give some food stuff and clothing to the homeless and share the joy with them, they'll be grateful and they will not waste it but they will use it and appreciate every bit of it. Seeing happy faces would also mean blessings to you because you will have passed a great message through to the world.

A cheerful giver will always receive more and more returns for his generosity but a person who hides what he has will never be satisfied and they'll be no room for addition of blessings. Let us learn to share our joys with those who need it more and not choose the people of our status who can afford to buy their own way.
