BACHELOR OF EDUCATION IN EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT WITH IT

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

To qualify for admission, applicants should have any of the following minimum requirements:

a) Mean grade of C+ and above in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations

b) Diploma in Early Childhood Education from a recognized institution of learning

c) P1 Certificate with KCSE Mean Grade C plain

d) EACE/KACE with I Principal and 2 subsidiary passes

DURATION OF THE PROGRAM

The program will be offered on both full- and part-time basis. The full-time program shall follow the normal University semester system. The part-time or sandwich program shall normally take four academic years consisting of sixteen school holiday sessions.

Admission requirements
- A minimum of C+ in KCSE or
C in KCSE or its equivalent
with Early Childhood Development
Education diploma or P1 certificate
plus two years teaching experience.

Course duration
- The course takes three years(eight semesters)plus
teaching practice

Tuition fee for Non-East Africans
- Sh.50,000 per trimester

Tuition fee for East Africans
- Sh.75,000 per trimester
Entry requirements:
KCSE minimum grade of C+ (plus) or equivalent
Or
KCSE Aggregate C (plain) or equivalent with ECDE Diploma from a recognized institution or P1 Certificate and 2 years relevant experience.
Fees requirements: Ksh. 50,000 per trimester
Course study duration: 3 academic years.
Entry requirements:
-Minimum of C+ (plus) in
KCSE or equivalent OR
minimum of C (plain) in KCSE
or equivalent with a Diploma
in ECDE or its equivalent with
an overall pass of credit or
distinction.
Entry requirements:-
Mean grade of C+ (plus) at KCSE or equivalent OR Mean grade of C (plain) at KCSE or equivalent with ECE Diploma from a recognized institution or P1 certificate and two (2) years relevant experience.

in "A" level
(iii)Five credits in IGCSE
(iv)A minimum of C+ in KCSE
