Sweating is good for your skin. But if not taken care of, it may take it’s toll on your skin. Weather you work out a couple of times a week or go to the gym every day,you still need to find out an effective after-care routine. You also probably have noticed that you get more break out often when you exercise.

The good news is that you can use some tricks to help keep those pores as germ free as possible. Here are a few tips for maintaining a clear and radiant skin after a thorough work out.

1 Use facial cleansing wipes
Not only are they the easiest way to keep your skin clear, but they are also portable enough to carry in your gym bag. Always have a pack of cleansing wipes in your bag so that you can use after a heavy work out at the gym.

2 Spray peppermint tea on your skin
Tea leaves have a soothing and cooling effect on the skin. You can treat your skin to a solution of peppermint tea and witch hazel toner. This combination works best after clearing your skin pores with cleansing wipes. It also keeps break out at bay and prevents skin irritation because of it’s culminating effects.

3 Cleanse the second time when you get home
Since cleansing wipes never get deep enough to entirely clean your skin pores, consider cleansing your face and neck using a green tea cleanser. Green tea is effective in preventing break out because it is loaded with antioxidants. Your skin will remain glowing all day long.

4 Exfoliate after every few days
Make it a habit to exfoliate your skin at least once every 3-4 days. The advantage of exfoliating your skin is that it gets rid of any dead skin cells that may try to block your pores,

leaving your skin silky smooth. Use an exfoliating brush that contains pumpkin or papaya enzymes. They are effective for breaking up dead skin cells. This method is also best for people suffering from acne.
