One of the first few things that dieters cut off from their regime plans as soon as they embark on a diet for weight loss is cheese. All weight watchers feel that even a moderate sprinkle of cheese on a sandwich or burger can turn their weight loss goal into a nightmare.

A clear assessment of the nutritional food value of cheese lays bare its fattening properties. Cheese comes in not one, but many varieties and each one stores different attributes in its layers.

Something to note is that all varieties contain good amount of protein, including both saturated and unsaturated fat. Almost 60 per cent of all kinds of cheese is pure saturated fat, when consumed regularly can add up to obesity to those who love it.

It also contains high levels of sodium which may mean your body retains water and bloats to undesirable proportions if eaten regularly.

The answer to whether to eat or not eat it can be both yes or no. It is yes when you are addicted to cheese eating and eat it regularly. It is No when you enjoy eating it occasionally.
