1. Imaginative composition (Compulsory) (20mks)
Either
a) Write a composition ending with the statement:
“And I vowed never to make such a blunder again.” (20mks)
OR
b) Write a story to illustrate the saying: “Two is better than one”. (20mks)
2. The Novel (Compulsory) (20mks)

Write a composition on the problems refugees undergo. Draw your illustrations from
John Ruganda’s Shreds of Tenderness.
(c ) The novel (20mks)
Velma Pollard, Homestretch.
Write an essay on how Brenda’s character enables her to cope with the challenges she
encounters. Refer to Velma Pollard’s Homestretch for your illustrations.
