1. Imaginative composition (compulsory) (20 marks)
Either
(a) Write a composition ending with the words:” as he was led to prison to start his
term, Chalo let out a groan of pain wishing he had not involved himself in corrupt
deals.”
Or
(b) Write a composition agreeing or disagreeing with the statement, “Money cannot
buy happiness”
2. Novel Compulsory
Basing your answer on Ngugi’s (20mks)
The River Between write a composition showing how culture–clash is brought out in the novel.
3. Optional set texts
Either
(a) The short story
