SECTION A
1. How reliable is archeology as a source in the reconstruction of the African past.
2. “Arabic authors, like the Greek and Roman writers before them, should not be counted among the major African historians of the African past.” Critically comment.

7. Discuss the significance of maumau in Kenyan history.
8. To what extent has the UNESCO General History of Kenya succeeded in applying an interdisciplinary approach to the writing of African history? “Use either volume one or two.”
