1. Construct a diagonal scale ; 30 mm=1mm, 4m long to read 10 mom from the drawing indicate the following dimensions.
i) 3m 830mm
ii) 2m 480 mm
iii)1 m 130mm. (20 marks)

2. Construct a square equal in area to a given triangle ABC with side AB=50mm, BC =65mm and AC= 70mm.Let side AB to be horizontal position. (20 marks)

3.Construct an eclipse with a length 50 mm.
(20 marks)

4. a) State any five instruments used in technical drawing. (5 marks)

b) Construct an eclipse by concentric cycles given that major axis =100mm and minor axis =60 mm . (15 marks)
