SECTION A
Answer ALL Questions

1. “Jesus Christ is never mentioned in Quran. What we often hear Moslem say about
Christ are teachings coming out of Suna traditions and not Quran.” A lecturer
claimed. Briefly dispute the claim. [6 marks]

2. Jamaican born Islamic preacher, Sheikh Abdullah El-Faisal persuaded thousands
of listeners to adopt Jihad as the most effective way of spreading Islam. Britain
jailed him for four years to stop the spread of Islam. Kenya deported him back to
Jamaica for fear of the same. Therefore we can conclude without any doubt that
Islam spread only through Jihad since inception to 21st Century. Discuss
[10 marks]

3. “Honestly speaking Christians are absolutely wrong to call Jesus Christ the
Messiah.” A Rabbi remarked. Argue out the Christian perspective of Jesus as the
Messiah. [12 marks]

4. “Hinduism as a religion has no concept of Salvation.” Support or reject the view.
[12 marks]

(a) Explain a foreign tourist the relationship between the living and the death
from an African Traditional Religion point of view. [10 marks]

6. “Granth Sahib, the Holy Scriptures of Buddhism supports homosexuality.” A
human right activist concluded. Respond [15 marks]

7. “Bhagavad Gita, the Holy Scriptures of Sikhism support homosexuality.”
