QUESTION ONE
Read the case below and answer Question one.
Njoroge, Omondi and Jane are partners Bachelor of Commerce Graduates. They decided to start
a consulting business five years ago upon graduation. Their goal is to provide a wide range of
services including, manufacturing-process engineering, training and recruiting for small and
large organizations. They forecast that there will be an increased use of outsourcing for these
activities .They have discussed with managers in several large organizations the services they
plan to offer and they expressed considerable interest. They have secured funding to start their
business and they are now building the HRM System. Their Human resource planning suggests
that they need to hire five experienced engineers, Three MBAs who between them have
financial, accounting, marketing and human resource management skills. They strive to develop
their human resources in a way that will enable their business to prosper.
a) Identify and explain the job specification components that will be required for purpose of
recruiting the job candidates.
