QUESTION ONE (30 MARKS)
a) Draw a sketch of a mammalian skin and from the sketch identify the following
histological components.

b) Briefly explain the technological significance of each of the above structural components
in leather technology. [10 marks]
c) Differentiate the structural characteristics of the following raw materials

a) Briefly describe the post-mortem changes in hides and skins after slaughter. How does the
