MARKING SCHEME
How Jesus fulfilled Micahs prophesies of the Messiah.
i) Jesus was born in Bethlehem during the census fulfilling Micah’s prophecy that the Messiah will be born in the birth place of David.
ii) Jesus was born of Mary fulfilling Micah’s prophecy that the Messiah would be born of a woman.
iii) Jesus rule is eternal in the world fulfilling Micah’s prophecy that He shall be great to the ends of the earth.
iv) Jesus was there from the beginning as seen in the creation accounts/trinity fulfilling Micah’s prophecy that his origin is from the ancient days.
v) Jesus preached the good news of salvation fulfilling Micah’s prophecy the He will feed His flock
vi) Jesus fulfilled Micahs’a prophecy that Israel will have victory over her enemies by bringing peace to the World through defeating Satan.

i) Jesus took Peter, John and James to Mount Hermon to pray.
ii) As Jesus was praying, his appearance changed /was transfigured.

iv) They were talking about his departure which he was to accomplish in Jerusalem.
v) When the disciples awoke, they saw Jesus’ glory and the two men standing with Jesus.
vi) Peter told Jesus that they make three booths - one for Jesus, one for Moses and one for Elijah.
vii) A cloud then came and overshadowed them and they were afraid.
viii) A voice came from the cloud saying ‘‘This is my son, my chosen listen to him!’’
ix) After the voice had spoken, Jesus was found alone.
x) They did not tell anyone what they had seen.

iv) If there is no one to interpret, those with the gift of speaking in tongues should remain silent in Church/speak to God.
