Answer question ONE and any other THREE.

1.
H. Kali has been with Hetzer Meat Co. Ltd.k for 12 years. He works in the Costing Department, holding the position of a Senior Accountant. Joan Mwema also works in the same department as a Junior Accountant. Joan is now in her second year as an employee of the Company. Mr. Kali's pay is 50% higher than Joan's salary although Joan's work is ofa better quality than Mr. Kali's work. Sometimes at the beginning of this year, Joan felt that she is underpaid. She booked an appointment with Mr. Kamau, the Company's Human Resource Manager and requested him for a pay increase. Mr. Kamau told her, "1 am allocated only two accounting positions, one for a Senior Accountant and another for a Junior Accountant. There is no way I can get you a pay increase until the end of the year when your position as a Junior Accountant calls for an automatic time - in - grade pay increase, I am sorry." Joan left Mr. Kamau's office wondering if she should look for another job. She went back to her desk to work but without much of her old enthusiasm.
