Study the picture below carefully and write a dramatic story which has conflict(s); suspense,
specific roles and a resolution which is educational.
Select any three proponents and practitioners of Drama in Education and explain how they
advocated for the centrality of play in the learning process of the child and how they made
education child centred.
The fact that Ministry of Education spent KSh.10 million in the National Finals of the Kenya
Schools Drama Festival in Nakuru in March this year shows how much drama is valued by the
Ministry. However, what explanation does one give for Drama not having been instituted as a
