Anyango M & E consultancy firm has been awarded a tender by the Government of Kenya to conduct an impact assessment on the Impact of Kazi Kwa Vijana initiative on employment generation and compile a detailed report. After several weeks of rigorous work, the firm finally produced the report. However, after presenting the report tot eh management, it was rejected .

Required to:
a)
Explain why the report might have been rejected. [10 marks]
b)
If you were the one in charge of Anyango firm, explain how you would have planned for the evaluation such that the output ( Report) is as good as the process. [ 5 marks]
c)
Explain the uses of Monitoring and Evaluation Results. [ 5 marks]

Project evaluation takes many forms however they all use same approach. Required to discuss at least four types of Project evaluation. [20 marks]

Explain the relevance of Work Break Structure (WBS) in establish Progress Reporting System. [20 marks]

5.
Project intervention does not happen in isolation but within many competing factors. Required to explain the environmental factors which project implementers are likely to consider in their monitoring process. [20 marks]
