1. Explain the philosophy of inclusive education. [2 marks]

2. State four advantages of inclusive education. [4 marks]

3. Mention two provisions of each of the following United Nations human rights documents.
(a) The World Declaration on Education for All, Jomtien (1990).
(b) The United Nations Standard Rules (1993).
(c) The Salamanca Statement and Framework for Action (1994). [6 marks]

4. List six characteristics of successful co-teachers. [3 marks]

5. Mention two ways of:
(a) Preparing staff for inclusive education.
(b) Preparing students without disabilities for inclusive education. [4 marks]

6. Briefly explain two curricula content areas that should be covered when teaching students with disabilities at the primary level. [4 marks]

7. What four considerations must be addressed when designing curricula for students with disabilities at the secondary level. [4 marks]
